At Job&Talent, we are hiring a Machine Operator to work at A B Produce, who is a supplier of a bespoke range of potatoes and prepared vegetables for the wholesale, retail, processing, catering and food service supply chain,distributed nationwide.
Job Details
Shift Pattern: Rotating
- Morning: Monday to Friday 6.30am - 2pm and Saturday 6am till finish
- Afternoon: Monday to Friday 2pm till finish
- Flexibility with finish time and ability to work up to 12hrs shifts required
Pay Rate:
- Days: £12.65 per hour
- Overtime: £15.81 per hour (paid after 40 hours) and £18.98 (paid after 48 hours)
Location: Measham, DE12 7DT
Duration: Temp to perm
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in verbal and spoken English
- FLT experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines
- The ability to stand for long periods of time, in a repetitive role
- Previous food / factory experience desirable but not required
Responsibilities
- Operating peeling machine
- The role involves manual handling
- Maintaining the clean area of work
- Assisting with the production process
- Working within the fresh production environment
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety and reporting any concerns
- Act as stand in / cover supervisor - adequate pay rate applies
