Summary
We are seeking an Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team at Brownlands Nursing Home. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Rolling Rota ; 1st week: Mon, Tue, Wed 2nd Week: Thu, Fri, Sat
Hours to be arranged-
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
Coordinate with staff to ensure activities are well-organized and accessible to all residents.
Foster a positive environment that encourages resident participation and social interaction.
Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments based on resident feedback.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to enhance the activity program.
Maintain records of participation and report on activity outcomes on PCS system.
Requirements
Experience in a related field is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and staff.
Ability to plan and organize events that cater to diverse interests.
Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors.
Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage.
