Summary
Are you a hardworking and reliable labourer looking for work? We have a short-term contract opportunity available on a busy new build housing site in the Hessle area of Hull. This role is perfect for someone looking to get straight to work and contribute to a key phase of the project!
About the Role:As a general labourer on our site, your primary focus will be on site setup and access. Your duties will mainly involve:
- Installing Heras fencing to secure site boundaries and designated areas.
- Setting up public walkways and protective barriers to ensure public safety around the construction zone.
- Assisting with the movement of materials and tools relevant to these tasks.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Following all site health and safety guidelines.
- General labouring duties as required to support the site team.
- Previous experience in general labouring, ideally on a construction or housing site.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Experience with fence installation or groundworks is a bonus but not essential.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
- Good physical fitness as the role will involve manual tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
