Summary

Pinnacle Group are seeking a committed General Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site maintenance team. The role will involve undertaking a wide range of general repairs, planned and reactive maintenance within the student residential accommodation on the campus at the University of Staffordshire Student Village. The role entails working within the team’s weekly rota between 08:00-17:00.

You will be joining our Total FM team based in Stoke-on-Trent.The Total FM team provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors to ensure facilities operate at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Redecoration works
  • Building fabric repairs
  • Lock changes
  • Filter changes
  • Assist with electrical work
  • Minor plumbing work
  • Moving furniture and equipment
  • Tiling work
  • Gutter clearing
  • Supervision of Sub-contractors to ensure safe working practices.
  • Completing all regular safety checks.
  • Completing and assisting of all preventative planned maintenance checks.


Key requirements:

  • Plumbing and decorating skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of working in a similar role
    • Good health & safety knowledge
  • Resourceful and self-motivated
