Summary
Core Responsibilities1. Develop knowledge of the ethical principles for clinical research and its implications forcurrent practice.2. As a member of the R&D team, s/he will be responsible for the provision of robustoperational support in all aspects of clinical trials administration according to GoodClinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, local standard operating procedures (SOPs) andother relevant SWLStG policies.3. Be responsible for his/her own personal and professional development, ensuring thatall relevant skills and training (e.g. GCP) remaining up-to-date to carry out all jobrelated responsibilities.4. Help to identify mental health service users and carers who are eligible to take part ina range of research projects and to provide information and support for users involvedin research projects.5. Help to collect data, which will involve reviewing electronic medical records and dataentry.6. Help to recruit patients into observational research studies, through screening records,assisting to recruit participants, and participate in the follow-up and completion ofrelevant trial-specific paperwork.7. Post holder will ensure that patients care and treatment, assessments, follow-up anddata collection are conducted according to the appropriate research protocols.
