Summary

Role Specification

Role Objective:

As a key team member you will help write, manage and structure the online content for our e-trading department. You will also work closely with our SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) team to identify new product features and make sure all content attributes and descriptions are managed for e-trading and all the ley touchpoints of that customer journey.

This is an excellent opportunity to manage and develop the content aspect of e-trading, helping to ensure that the site is always up to date and provides reliable, consistent online information. Working within the team to additionally enhance online customer experience and implementing the online content marketing strategy.

Summary of Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure search terms and keywords are rendering the right results
  • Landing pages are correct for end user destination
  • Customer journey is optimised and implement search engine optimisation best practice
  • Mis-spelt words for search
  • Brand and product optimisation
  • Bury and boost
  • Meta data is correct
  • Analysis of products and categories that don’t sell
  • Management and responsibility for online content lifecycle
  • Keeping within Brand Guidelines for all product ranges.

Person Specification

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Strong proof reading skills
  • Strong time management skills to deliver multiple projects to time
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Passion for online and improving the customer experience
  • Creative thinker and problem solver

Desirable

  • Experience using back end CMS (Content Management Systems).
  • An understanding of HTML and basic SEO concepts.
  • Digital Marketing Experience
