We are a dynamic and growing retail design & production business looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, well-organized, and eager to grow within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Process invoices and purchase orders
• Maintain and update accounting software Sage & Clarity. Experience in Clarity is not essential as training will be given
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, colleagues and other departments as required
• Provide general administrative support to the finance and office team
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role
• Proficiency with accounting software Sage preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
