Summary
We have fantastic opportunities to join The Alma Tavern in Worcester as a Front of House Team Member Level 2 Apprentice.
Working in this busy vibrant bar/restaurant, you'll be supported through your learning journey to achieve your Level 2 Apprenticeship. This is a unique opportunity to join this fabulous and passionate team and create memorable moments for their guests.

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be at the forefront of our establishment, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining and social experience. This role requires a friendly demeaner, great communication abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival and assist them as needed throughout their visit - ensuring our customer journey is achieved
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, handling various payment methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front of house area
- Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve any issues or complaints professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery
- Assist with restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels
- Uphold food safety standards and guidelines at all times
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role is desired
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations would be great
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs effectively
- Proficiency in basic mathematics for cash handling purposes
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Experience with upselling techniques is desired

Things to consider
This is a physically demanding position and you will be working on your feet during your shift. You will need to be presentable and your appearance clean and tidy. Please check the route and how you will get to the Alma Tavern as there is little or no bus service after 7pm.
Future Prospects
Once you have completed your apprenticeship there may be further career enhancements and a full time position.

Monday to Sunday 10am - 10pm (Rota Basis)
