Be at the heart of shaping the future of data in DWP Digital.

We’re looking for a strategic and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the design and development of next-generation cloud data platforms replacing legacy systems and driving real impact for millions of UK citizens. If you’re passionate about data, thrive in complex backend environments, and want to build meaningful, modern platforms at scale, this is your opportunity to make a difference.

You’ll take ownership of our data platform roadmap, leading cross-functional teams to deliver powerful, scalable cloud-based solutions that support advanced analytics, insight generation, and smarter decision-making across DWP.

  • Own and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for cloud-based data platforms, ensuring alignment with DWP’s transformation agenda.
  • Oversee the transition from legacy data warehouses to new cloud-based architectures, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum business value.
  • Advocate for user needs in complex backend processing environments, ensuring data products meet the demands of analytical, audit, and insight-focused users.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects and the wider D&A and Digital Group to deliver integrated, scalable data solutions.
  • Promote data-driven thinking and practices across the organisation, influencing teams to build with data in mind, aligned to our “hub and spoke” model.
  • Support and guide other Product Managers within the Data Platforms team, building capability and consistency in product practices, while also providing line management to ensure their development, performance, and wellbeing.
  • Engage confidently in discussions around both legacy and modern data ingestion, storage, and exploitation techniques.
