The Team
The University is excited to be launching our new Student Hub this summer, providing a wide range of student support and guidance, both in person and online. The Student Hub will be part of the Student Academic Administration directorate and will be a focal point for students at our York and London campuses.
The role
The Student Hub Manager will deliver effective, student focussed and pro-active leadership and management of the Student Hub; creating an inclusive, knowledgeable and supportive environment for all YSJ students.
The post holder will be expected to devise and deliver strategies to sustain exemplary and consistent service excellence, continuous service improvement alongside ownership and resolution of student issues. This will be done in collaboration with senior stakeholders and student support teams from across the University.
Required skills and experience
The successful candidate must have:
Experience of leading professional support teams in a complex organisation
Experience of developing and delivering process change
Experience of working in a customer service environment
Excellent communication skills
Experience of working with customer relationship management systems
The ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of plans to improve the student experience
