Plus, generous benefits, including: • 45 days annual leave per year pro rata (including bank holidays and efficiency closures) • Generous Occupational Pension SchemeAbout the RoleYork College is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Student Experience and Activities Advisor to lead the planning and delivery of our student voice and enrichment programme. This dynamic role is responsible for championing learner involvement across all areas of study through student forums, Course Representatives, the Student Union, and other innovative feedback mechanisms. You will play a vital role in ensuring that student voice is diverse, inclusive and impactful, while also curating an engaging calendar of cultural events, campaigns and enrichment activities that contribute to learners’ personal development and overall college experience.About the PersonYou will be a passionate advocate for student engagement, with proven experience working with young people in a fast-paced educational setting. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will line manage a small team and work collaboratively with staff and students to drive positive change. The ideal candidate will be confident in planning events, analysing student feedback, and using creative approaches to reach a diverse learner body. A flexible, empathetic and resilient approach is key, along with a commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.About the CollegeWe are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us. Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways.
