Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative IT Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring IT lessons tailored to the unique needs of our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEMH needs, a flexible teaching approach, and a commitment to creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated IT lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
• Develop and implement individualised learning plans.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote digital literacy.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.

Key Requirements:

• Hold a recognised full teaching qualification such as QTS or be willing to undergo teach training
• A clear understanding of the features of high-quality teaching and learning
• Experience of working with students with social, emotional and mental health needs
