Summary
People and Culture Officer Salary: £25,900 – £28,485 (FTE) Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, occasional weekend cover may be required Location: The Prince of Wales Hospice, Halfpenny Lane, Pontefract Join our passionate and friendly team at The Prince of Wales Hospice as People and Culture Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in shaping a positive and supportive workplace culture. About the Role We’re looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused individual to support our People and Culture team in delivering a high-quality HR service across the organisation. This varied and rewarding role includes: Supporting recruitment, onboarding and induction processes Coordinating HR administration and employee records Assisting with employee relations meetings and training coordination Managing and maintaining accurate HR systems and data Acting as the first point of contact for HR and recruitment enquiries You’ll work closely with the People and Culture Manager and Director of People and Culture to support the smooth running of the team and help drive a culture that reflects our Hospice values. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience working within an HR environment, supporting a range of tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proactive and professional approach, with strong attention to detail Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR information systems CIPD qualification (or willingness to work towards one) Above all, you'll be committed to delivering an exceptional service that supports our staff and contributes to our compassionate and inclusive culture.
