Summary


Nottinghamshire Healthcare are delighted to offer a post for Complementary Therapy Co-ordinator to join our specialist team.

Based within our John Eastwood Hospice and benefiting from fantastic dedicated therapy suites. The successful candidate will lead our complementary therapy services for our inpatient and outpatient provision .

We are seeking a skilled and experienced qualified therapist to deliver a range of therapies based on the needs of patients and those important to them.

Experience of working within the NHS and/ or with patients with palliative care needs is essential.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

You will deliver high quality, individual focused therapies across a range if inpatients and outpatients as well as those important to them, their carers and at times our staff and other professionals

You will deliver training and support to the wider team and to other professionals to support the delivery of simple therapies to benefit patient care.

You will be a key part or our Living Well Services contributing to service development to make sure it continues to meet the challenges of our patient population.

Manage own caseload and appointment diary

To attend multidisciplinary team meetings and ward handovers

To support the Living Well Centre with facilitating groups for day/outpatients

To be involved in research projects to aid development of the service
