School Caretaker - Brighton (BN1)
Location: Brighton, BN1
Pay Rate: £14.13 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00
DBS Required
We're currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a friendly school site in Brighton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locking and unlocking the school site
- Conducting perimeter and security checks
- Handling deliveries and moving equipment as needed
- Setting up meeting rooms and event spaces
- Performing basic repairs and general maintenance
- Liaising with external contractors
- Conducting fire safety and compliance checks
Requirements:
- Previous caretaker or maintenance experience preferred
- A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
