This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with our client supplying innovative, sustainable building solutions to the UK construction industry. Our client is based in Oban, PA34.
Cleaning Operative responsibilities:
* Using shovels to remove debris, dust, and dirt from work areas, walkways, and equipment.
* Operating hoses for washing down quarry machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
* Ensuring the quarry site remains tidy and safe by regularly clearing areas of waste or materials.
* Adhering to safety procedures, including wearing PPE and reporting hazards.
* Assisting in the efficient operation of the quarry by maintaining clean and clutter-free working environments
Cleaning Operative required skills:
* Experience in Quarry/Construction Sites: Having prior experience in a quarry or similar industrial setting is advantageous
* Mobile Plant Operation: Experience operating small mobile plant equipment such as mini excavators, loaders, or skid-steer machines would be beneficial
* Knowledge of Health & Safety: Familiarity with the safety regulations and practices in a quarry environment, such as understanding the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and recognising potential hazards
* Previous experience in a Housekeeping, Labourer role
* Experience using hand shovels and fire
* Full UK Driving Licence
Cleaning Operative Pay:
* £14.50ph
Cleaning Operative Shift:
* 7am - 5pm
* 50 hrs per week
