TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside a welcoming and highly specialised SEND school in Warrington that caters to children and young people aged 4–19 with complex learning difficulties, including Autism, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. The role involves providing classroom support as well as delivering personal care to students, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met throughout the school day.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis

  
  

• Assisting with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and mobility support

  
  

• Promoting independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

  
  

• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

  
  The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience supporting children or adults with SEND – advantageous

    
    

  • Experience in healthcare or social care settings will be considered

    
    

  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach

    
    

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

    
    

  • A willingness to assist with all aspects of personal care – essential

    
    

  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
