We’re excited to be recruiting for an Assistant General Manager with great leadership skills to support our Warrington site. As a real team player you'll provide support to the General Manager in the day to day operational running of the site, whilst also supporting and empowering the team to succeed, creating an environment where fun can thrive.

We're therefore looking for an experienced leader who can support the team not only in the operational running of the site, but developing a culture of accountability and fun.
A leadership background in the leisure or entertainment space would be an advantage, but customer facing leadership experience is essential. You will be able to demonstrate your success commercially and financially, as well as demonstrate great communication.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Responsible for the line management and performance management of the Supervisors, leading by example.
- Deputise for the General Manager, with a key leadership role on site, and full understanding of how the site operates.
- Understanding of site budgets, supporting in the delivery of the commercial targets and KPI's.
- Responsible for the onboarding of all new Team Members into the site, including recruitment and induction training.
- Support in ensuring the site is compliant from a health and safety, and legislative perspective.
- Maintain and develop a culture of effective people management.
Your experience
- Operational leadership in a customer facing business.
- A proven track record of delivering consistently good guest experiences.
- Experience of understanding and contributing to P&L discussions.
- A demonstratable track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
Your personal qualities
- You can communicate effectively, adapting your leadership approach to suit the situation and the individual, with a coaching first mindset.
- Great at time management and organisational skills.
- A team player who can lead and coach, but also deliver operationally to a high standard.
- Demonstrates respect for equality of opportunity and diversity and works to actively promote an inclusive work environment and good working relationships amongst staff.
- Our sites trade 7 days per week, so some evening and weekend work is required as part of the role.
