Summary
Connect Appointments have a unique opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our established client in Kilmarnock on a permanent basis!
What's on offer?
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm. Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm
- £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Auditing and improving current HSE practices and policies
- Delivering training to internal staff on various aspects of HSE, including policies and standard operating procedures
- Investigating and record any incidents
- Developing a risk assessment and safe working procedure program
To be successful as a Health and Safety Advisor, you will:
- Be NEBOSH qualified
- Have previous experience in a HSE role (ideally within a manufacturing environment)
- Have the ability to carry out risk assessments and method statements
- Be able to take care of Health and Safety inspections on-site
