Review Officer - Housing (PO2)

Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Review Officer - Housing (PO2). As a Review Officer, you will play a crucial role in our organization by ensuring compliance with housing regulations and providing insightful recommendations on the overall improvement of housing policies and programs. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough reviews of housing applications to verify their completeness and accuracy
Collaborate with housing program managers to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Evaluate the effectiveness of housing policies and programs and make recommendations for improvement
Assist in the development and implementation of new housing initiatives
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess housing conditions and identify potential issues
Prepare concise and comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations
Provide guidance and support to housing program participants
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as urban planning, public administration, or social work
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the housing sector
Strong knowledge of housing regulations and policies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with complex data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Ability to travel to different housing sites as needed
Knowledge of local community resources and services for low-income individuals and families is a plus.
