Summary

Key responsibilities of the Chef de Partie will include:

Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the development of new menu items
Maintain a clean and organised workstation
Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve culinary excellence
Assist the Head Chef in all sections in all kitchens within the Hotel facilities
Support the kitchen team to deliver high standards and customer satisfaction during service periods
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Assisting with the management of health and safety
Supervising and training Commis Chefs
To clean down the section at the close of each shift and assist with any other cleaning tasks as required
To ensure wastage is kept to a minimum and preventative measures are fully understood
The Ideal Chef de Partie:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
Culinary degree or relevant certification
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary principles
Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in your culinary career
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality dishes
