About the Role:
NW Recruitment Services Ltd are currently exclusively recruiting a passionate and skilled Chef De Partie to join the team at a well-established countryside dining venue located in the scenic village of Tockholes.
This position offers the opportunity to work with locally sourced ingredients and a varied menu that includes Starters and Mains, Children’s Meals, Lunches & Sides, Jacket Potatoes, Sunday Roasts, and a popular Dessert Menu. The venue also hosts Specials Nights every Tuesday and Friday, showcasing traditional flavourful dishes and chef-led innovations.
As a Chef De Partie, you will take responsibility for specific sections of the kitchen, contributing to the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes across a diverse menu that caters to both traditional tastes and modern dining preferences.
You will play a key role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef to work in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment that prides itself on quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards across various sections of the kitchen.
• Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth kitchen service.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with food safety standards.
• Contribute to menu development with creative input and seasonal ideas.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Support junior staff with training and guidance where required.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar Chef De Partie role within a quality-led kitchen, preferably from a fresh produce background.
• A strong understanding of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in professional cookery (desirable).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Own transportation desirable due to location of work (countryside location, limited public transportation options)

Working hours:
Hours will vary, but a typical week would be 44 hours in a single week (subject to demand). Hours will be scheduled between the following operational hours;
• Monday – Closed
• Tuesday to Thursday – 10am to 8pm
• Friday & Saturday - 10am to 8pm
• Sunday – 10am to 7:30pm
*Due to the nature of the role, there may be instances where the Head Chef will be away from site – covering the Head Chef in instances will be required, although this is will not be a frequent expectation.*
