Summary
As Creative Workshop Technician at OreKnot, your role centres on the operation and maintenance of key workshop equipment, including the laser cutter, flatbed printer, and CNC machine. You will be responsible for maintaining operating systems, ensuring data is kept up to date, and conducting regular safety checks on machinery with accurate record-keeping. A crucial part of your role is learning and applying CAD software for design projects, while always prioritising health and safety. You will manage inbound and outbound communication with clients and customers, acting as a clear and reliable point of contact. Accurate data management across digital and physical formats is essential, alongside contributing to website updates and digital marketing efforts. You will support practical course delivery by setting up resources, machining stock materials, and assisting with training sessions when needed. A meticulous approach and willingness to learn are key, as is a commitment to company policies and procedures. You will help maintain the workshop and teaching spaces in a safe, organised condition, provide light maintenance to the building, and participate in shared cleaning duties. This is a learn-on-the-job position, with full support, training, and guidance provided by the team.
