Fixed Term Maternity Cover Class Teacher

This position will be split across EYFS & KS1
Full Time or 2 x Part-time roles
The Governors of our friendly, inclusive primary school are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to be part of our dedicated, supportive and friendly staff team. The school is committed to ensuring that all Safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to. The school is a small Church of England Primary School situated in an area of social deprivation. We serve a diverse community with a large number of vulnerable children. It is well facilitated and there is a great family feel within the school. The successful candidate needs to be confident working across a range of abilities and be able to engage and motivate all pupils having regard for the diverse needs of the children and families we serve.
This post is covering maternity leave for 2 days in EYFS and 3 days in Key Stage 1. We would welcome applications from candidates who wish to apply for this either as a full-time position or part-time in either EYFS or Key Stage 1, please specify on the application which you would prefer.
We are looking for someone who is conscientious and efficient. Someone who is able to use their skills to support and enhance all aspects of school life. You will work as part of the teaching team in a flexible and professional manner. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to use your initiative and work independently. Experience in early years is desirable.
