Location: Ealing, W13
Pay: £100-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: September 2025 start - Full academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

The Opportunity
Long Term Futures is proud to be partnering with a highly inclusive and community-driven primary school in Ealing, seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This full-time role will support children in Nursery and Reception, with a focus on helping new school starters feel safe, confident, and excited about learning.
You'll work alongside dedicated EYFS staff to support classroom routines, deliver play-based learning, and provide pastoral care during the transition into school. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone experienced in Early Years or looking to build long-term experience in a well-led, supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily learning through structured play and routine activities
- Assist pupils with separation, social skills, and confidence-building
- Use visual aids and sensory tools to support engagement
- Contribute to progress monitoring and observations
- Work closely with class teachers and EYFS leads on planning and behaviour support
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance when needed

- Experience working with Early Years or Reception-aged children
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and early development milestones
- Confident using communication strategies to support language and social skills
- A calm, friendly, and proactive approach to learning support
- Familiarity with safeguarding and child-centred behaviour management
