You will be based in the Manchester Centre of Clinical Neurosciences at Salford Royal Hospital of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA). The Manchester Centre of Clinical Neurosciences serves a large population and has a full complement of neurological subspecialties encompassing; Stroke, Cognitive function, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy, Neuroimmunology and Movement Disorders.
You will be fully registered medical practitioners and hold a current GMC licence to practice.
This 12 month post, which will be based between the Manchester Clinical Neurosciences Centre (MCCN) and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, has been created to allow the successful candidate the opportunity to develop a highly specialised subspecialty interest in Neuro-ophthalmology. ABN accreditation will be sought. The MCCN (http://www.manchesterneurosciences.com/) serves a large population and has a full complement of neurological subspecialties. The MCCN provides Neurology outpatient and acute in-reach services to all hospitals in GM. Manchester Royal Eye Hospital is one of the largest ophthalmology units in the UK, offering highly specialised medical and surgical subdisciplines
