Summary


Reporting to the Lead People Partner, the People Partner will ensure that they contribute People expertise to business decision making and develop innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy.

You will work as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting the Provide Group, providing specialised workforce focused expertise and advice to ensure our people are capable, effective and healthy, and ultimately able to deliver great care.

You will support organisational change to help implement the business strategy and foster a climate of positive employee relations.

Key responsibilities of the role will be to:



· investigate, manage, and advise on complex and sensitive people issues providing advice and guidance to all levels within the Provide Group.



· create insight, impact and challenge to support the drive for positive change by working in partnership with management through being evidence based, and outcomes driven in approach.



· support the creation and embedding of excellent people practices within the Provide Group, including reporting on workforce KPIs and taking appropriate action to improve KPIs as required.



· help build and sustain people management capacity through effective coaching of managers in applying HR policy and practice and helping deliver improvements in how employee performance is maximised.



· To lead change management and TUPE programmes, ensuring legal compliance.

Employee relations



· To facilitate informal resolution of Disciplinary, Grievance, Dignity at Work, Capability, Whistleblowing, Freedom To Speak Up matters to ensure an early resolution is gained, where appropriate.



· In conjunction with other colleagues within the People Directorate interpret and advise on employment legislation, HR Policies, procedures and terms and conditions of service, ensuring professional advice is always given, seeking expert advice from the Director – People Partnering as required.



· Provide specialist HR support to managers in formal panel hearings (Disciplinary, Performance, Grievance and Management of Attendance) attending as the HR expert adviser.



· To proactively manage through liaison with colleagues the throughput and quality of employee relations casework ensuring appropriate and effective timeframes for casework management are achieved.



· Support the Lead People Partner with highly complex and sensitive fixed term contract cases/as well as cases related to senior medics and senior management.
