Summary
This is a key role within the Care Group team. The post holder will act as the technical expert for all medical staffing related activities within an allocated service area. The post holder will take a lead role in the delivery of the medical staffing coordination function working closely with operational managers as well as Clinical Leads and Clinical Directors. Key responsibilities will include: Co-ordinate Junior Doctor Rotas to ensure compliance with current requirements, identifying gaps and organising cover in line with service needs and budget constraints. Manage and oversee medical staffing recruitment (including local induction) within service area for substantive and locum staff In conjunction with Operational Managers, monitor financial management of medical staffing through the participation in regular reviews to identify issues and discuss efficiency savings. Advise Operational Managers and Lead Clinicians on any other medical workforce related issues.
