Summary
Administrative Assistant required – 5 days per week – 1 Year FTC
St. David’s is a popular and over-subscribed Sixth Form College providing high quality education for 16–19-year-olds within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. In our 2019 Estyn inspection, we achieved an ‘excellent’ grade in inspection area one for standards, and in inspection area five for leadership and management.
Governors seek to appoint a highly organised and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support the work of key areas across the College, including the Examinations and Destinations departments. This role includes a range of administrative duties such as data entry and analysis, supporting learner activities and trips, preparing documentation, and contributing to the UCAS process. Strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team in a busy and fast-paced environment. Welsh language skills are desirable.
The interview will consist of competency-based questions and an in-tray exercise.

The position is 5 days per week at 100% FTE. It is offered on a 1-year fixed term contract and attracts a salary of £24,242.40. This is not a term-time only role.Some evening and weekend work may be required, with advance notice.
