Summary
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Senior Engineer – EICA to strengthen their Engineering team.
Location: Essex & Suffolk, offers hybrid working

Senior Engineer – EICA role:
The Senior Engineer – EICA will be responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective EICA designs for water and wastewater treatment projects. They will prioritise customer satisfaction and maintain a safe and sustainable working environment and consider all associated costs.
Senior Engineer – EICA responsibilities:
Deliver cost-effective, compliant EICA designs for water/sewage treatment projects
Ensure standard practices and maintain competitiveness, whilst monitoring and reviewing the procedures and processe
Provide estimates and feedback for the proposals department
Maintain project documentation
Assure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
Maintain a personal development plan
Assist in staff supervision and improvement alongside promoting a safe working environment
Senior Engineer – EICA qualifications and skills required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Driving license
Active member of a professional engineering institution
Proficient in creating and understanding single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, MCC designs, control and instrumentation specifications
Expert knowledge of EICA systems used for water and sewage treatment
Proven experience leading and managing teams of engineers in EICA design for water and wastewater treatment plants
Proven ability to rationalize designs and produce economic and cost-effective plant layouts
Possesses a strong understanding of various aspects of water treatment; mechanical, process and electrical engineering in addition to project management principles
The ability to present technical proposals in a clear, confident, and convincing manner
