From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes - we'll do whatever it takes to look after the UK's wellbeing. It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.
To contribute to our Nuffield Health purpose to build a healthier nation by being responsible for how we deliver across all technology, digital and data activities for a specific unit.
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and dynamic Lead Technology Delivery Manager to join Nuffield Health's CDIO Delivery Team. This is a six-month FTC role covering maternity leave, where you will be accountable for the delivery of all initiatives within our Commerce & Account Management Unit - specifically focused on digitisation opportunities for our Call Centre but also with an oversight of all changes across the Nuffield Health website and app.
This is a key leadership role - owning the portfolio of change within the Commerce & Account Management Unit, coaching a small number of delivery managers and contributing to the overall culture of delivery excellence within the charity.
You will coach and mange a team of Delivery Managers who enable the delivery of each squad's business outcomes, focussing on removing impediments and ensuring the squad has what it needs to deliver. You will have direct accountability for the performance of 3rd party vendors and be a key part of the decision-making process around vendor contracting and performance management. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate management and communication of your unit and the Delivery Team's performance against delivery metrics.
You will lead on:
-
Delivery, focussing the unit and its squads on cost effective outcomes
-
Managing delivery risks and dependencies
-
Unit Planning and Prioritisation
-
Unit and Squad collaboration and ways of working
-
Measuring success and continually improving unit performance
-
Building and managing stakeholder relationships
-
