Summary


A fixed term opportunity has arisen to cover a period of maternity leave.
• To be responsible for providing a confidential, efficient and effective medical secretary service to the CAMHS Consultants
• Production of written correspondence including letters from dictation, written and audio to a high standard in agreed time scales
• Ensure a high standard of communication at all times with internal and external service users and partner agencies

· To prepare clinic lists, room space and all necessary documentation prior to clinic sessions

· Diary management for the consultant including all aspects of meeting bookings and MDT meetings and ensure consultants are fully prepared for meetings

· Set up and maintain SystmOne rotas

· Effective organisation and scheduling of clinics and appointments; cancelling, re-arranging and sending letters as appropriate

· Book home visits including liaison and contact with patients and other professionals

· Arranging cross cover for consultants for clinical sessions as required

· Record and maintain consultant activity as appropriate
