Summary
We have a new opportunity for a skilled Sheet Metal worker to join a well-established company based in the Burnley area. As part of the production team, you will play a crucial role in fabricating various stainless steel and mild steel products.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG/TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards, mainly TIG work.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Using various stainless steel and mild steel products in 1.2mm to 3mm sheet thickness.
Also operating general sheet metal hand tools and various machines.
Operating welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment while following health and safety guidelines.
Experience required
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
Relevant welding qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.
Benefits / Hours
Hourly rate: £17.00 (£34,476 per Annum) + overtime available paid at time & a half
Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm (39 hours per week)
