About the role
The Project Support Officer supports the delivery of community-led greenspace projects across London and the Southeast. You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, community groups, and volunteers - sometimes in large numbers - helping to manage and deliver impactful local projects. You'll also help coordinate and lead volunteering sessions, including with major corporate partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of greenspace and community improvement projects (hard and soft landscaping).
- Help manage project progress on the ground - ~50% of your time will be site-based.
- Lead and supervise volunteer sessions, including large corporate groups.
- Work with clients, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Maintain health and safety standards and adapt to organisational policies.
- Report progress to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Some experience in a Project Support or similar role within contstuction, maintenance, lanscaping or similar industries.
- A confident, personable communicator - comfortable leading groups and speaking to stakeholders.
- Someone proactive, organised, and happy to work independently.
- Some experience or understanding of health & safety processes.
- A basic level of IT literacy (MS Office).
- Full UK driving licence (you'll have access to a company van for work use).
