Summary

Do you have a passion to work with children with behavioural needs? Could you make a positive impact on young people's lives?

Empowering Learning are looking for Teacher of SEND to work in an impressive SEND Setting in Nottingham. Experience working in a school setting and experience with SEND pupils is favourable. Experience within the a sector with transferrable skills may also be considered. This is for a September Start.

Required Experience:
- QTS or Equivalent
- Taught across subjects
- Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
- Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
- Have experience supporting children with additional needs
- Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
- Have an understanding of SEMH and Behavioural Teaching

Job Description:
- Class teacher to a group and day to day running of the class
- Teacher children across a wide range lessons/school activities
- Supporting staff/children during lunch and break times
- Managing pupils personalised learning based on their individual need.
- Delivering to small groups
- Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
- Managing Teaching Assistants within the class setting
