eacherActive are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in a mainstream secondary school in Nottinghamshire, for a September start. The role of Cover Supervisor is a vital and valued role within the school, helping to ensure continuity of provision for students across all age groups
The role of Cover Supervisor will be in the Secondary phase, and is to manage the children in the classroom and ensure they are working on the tasks set. The lesson plans will be set by the teacher you would be covering and all work will be handed to you by your line manager.
The ideal Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with children in the UK
• Good classroom management skills
• Excitement about working with children
• Ability to be proactive and get involved
