Job Title: Residential Support Worker
We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a well-established and dedicated team in a residential home. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable children and young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them achieve their best outcomes in a nurturing and therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to children and young people in a residential care setting.
Build positive relationships with children and young people, promoting their emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.
Encourage and support engagement in education, leisure, and social activities.
Maintain accurate records of care, progress, and development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure high standards of care.
Be a reliable source of guidance and support for young people’s everyday needs.

Candidate Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or willingness to work towards it.
Experience in children’s services or a related field is preferable.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
Understanding of child development, safeguarding, and child protection.
Valid driver’s license.
Passion, patience, and resilience to support young people facing challenges.
