Job Title: Deputy Manager (Children's Home)
Introduction:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Deputy Manager to join a well-established Children's Home. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people while advancing your career in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Children's Home.
Provide care and support to children and young people with diverse backgrounds and needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Support and guide care staff in delivering high-quality, individualised care.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with external professionals and families.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders to promote effective communication and partnership.
Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, identifying and implementing improvements as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
What’s on Offer:
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum.
Permanent full-time contract.

Candidate Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent qualification).
Previous experience in a similar role within a residential childcare setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
Ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
