The Role.
This is a brand new opportunity to join Alamy’s Commercial team as a Distribution Account Manager, focused on managing and growing
our international network of distribution partners.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and delivering
results. You’ll be responsible for owning and optimising some of our most important distribution accounts, playing a vital role in
expanding Alamy’s global reach.
Reporting to the Distribution Sales Manager, you’ll be empowered to shape this newly created role - bringing fresh ideas,
influencing strategy, and having real commercial impact from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and growing a portfolio of distribution partners to exceed annual revenue targets.
* Identifying new distribution opportunities and onboarding partners to support commercial growth.
* Collaborating with the Distribution Sales Manager to develop and deliver tailored strategies for each account.
* Building strong relationships with key external stakeholders and becoming a trusted partner.
* Providing regular account performance reports and recommendations to optimise value.
* Meeting KPIs across outreach, engagement, and account growth.
* Staying ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging global opportunities.
* Working cross-functionally with internal teams—Sales, Marketing, Content, Product and Technology—to deliver a best-in-class
partner experience.
About you.
This role would suit someone with proven experience in account management who is ready to take their next step in a fast-paced,
commercially driven environment.
You will also need:
* A track record of exceeding revenue targets and growing accounts.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to manage relationships at all levels.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts with high attention to detail.
* A proactive, resilient mindset and the drive to seek out opportunities.
* Familiarity with customer management systems such as Salesforce.
* A creative, solutions-focused approach to commercial challenges.
* An understanding of distribution models or experience in media/photography is desirable.
