Summary
Are you a Facilities Engineer with strong hydraulic and pneumatic experience? Looking for a local role with variety, stability, and room to grow?
We’re recruiting for a Mechanical Facilities Engineer to join a well-established team in Halesowen, supporting day-to-day site maintenance, including dock levellers, loading bay equipment, roller shutters, barriers, and general facilities upkeep. This is a new, permanent role, reporting to the Projects & Facilities Manager.
What’s in it for you?

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (37.5 hours)
Twice-yearly bonus scheme
Local travel (mostly within 10 miles) with occasional travel to other UK sites such as Liverpool

The ideal candidate will:
Have at least 3 years’ experience in facilities or mechanical maintenance
Be confident reading and working from engineering drawings
Have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and loading bay systems
Be IT proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full, clean driving licence
It’s a bonus if you have:
NVQ Level 3 or above in Engineering
Welding/fabrication experience
IPAF, PASMA, or forklift truck certification
Electrical knowledge or 17th Edition (not essential but beneficial)
