Key Responsibilities:
• Provide practical and emotional support to children and young people in residential or community-based settings.
• Encourage and promote positive behaviours, personal development, and independence.

• Respond to incidents and challenging situations calmly, using approved intervention techniques when required.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive, consistent care team.
Essential Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence (essential — you may be required to transport young people to appointments, activities, or educational placements).
• Some experience working with young people, young adults, or individuals with additional needs (EBD, SEN, residential care, or similar environments preferred).
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach, with the ability to manage challenging situations.
• An understanding of safeguarding principles and professional boundaries (training can be provided).

• Competitive hourly rates.
• Comprehensive induction and ongoing training opportunities.
• Professional development and career progression options.
• Supportive, approachable management team.
• A varied, rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference to the lives of young people.
