We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of this much-loved venue.

Your Role as Deputy Manager:
As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of the pub. You’ll lead by example, support and train your team, and step up confidently when the General Manager is off-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the hiring and retention of top talent
Deputise for the General Manager, taking full responsibility in their absence
Mentor and coach your team to deliver exceptional service
Uphold the highest standards across food, drink, and guest experience
Maximise sales opportunities and manage controllable costs
Handle function and room bookings with confidence and professionalism
What We’re Looking For in a Deputy Manager:
Experience in a leadership role within a premium hospitality setting
Strong food & beverage knowledge and a genuine love for great service
Commercial awareness with the ability to contribute to financial success
Organised and confident in managing bedroom and event enquiries
Own transport is essential due to our countryside location
