Description
The Social Worker - Adults 1 (Grade 8) position is a pivotal role within our organization dedicated to supporting adults facing a variety of challenges. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and challenges.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Coordinate with community resources and organizations to provide clients with necessary services.
Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with mental health issues and social barriers.
Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, ensuring they receive appropriate care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and case progress.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness and accessibility of social services.
Requirements
A degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid Social Worker license or certification as required by state regulations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults in a social services capacity.
Strong understanding of adult mental health issues, substance abuse, and related social services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 08:45
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £26.02
