Full time hours on a temporary basis
The Health and Safety Team sits within the Emergency and Safety Team of the Client. The team is responsible for working with others to ensure effective and efficient Health and Safety arrangements are in place across all services of the Client and that the objectives as outlined in the Client's Health and Safety policy are delivered. This will often involve working with colleagues from across all services of the client, and other stakeholders such as school representatives.
The role will involve providing technical support to qualified health and safety practitioners in relation to a range of health and safety matters. This will include maintaining and managing records, supporting delivery of projects and monitoring and tracking actions through to completion.
The Health and Safety team has an important role in engaging with a range of stakeholders on health and safety matters, as such the postholder will be responsible for ensuring that guidance and advice is accessible (for example guidance notes are publicised and available for others to access), supporting the arrangement and delivery of training, promoting and supporting the delivery of any promotional campaigns or arranging, minute taking and recording actions.
