Summary


We are looking for enthusiastic Support Team Assistant to join our busy MRI team at RDH.

You will be responsible for a range of duties supporting the service, encompassing physical, technical, caring and clerical duties as allocated under the direction and supervision of the radiographers, and following Trust Policies and Procedures at all times.

You will be required to participate in a 7 day rota that covers duties from 08:00 to 20:00 with a cross site element to support the service needs.

The STA will work closely as part of the multidisciplinary team in Imaging with other disciplines including medical, nursing and AHPs regarding diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain patient flow to and from the MRI area.
• To work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
• To ensure that all clinical and other information records are fully and accurately completed as required for job role.
• To follow policies and protocols as defined by the local work area, imaging directorate and Trust and to also ensure appropriate tidiness and efficiency is maintained in the work areas and assist other areas as necessary.
• To be responsible for the care and comfort of the patient whilst they are in the Radiology Department and respecting their privacy, dignity and religious and cultural beliefs.
