Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced LGV/HGV Lorry Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate an LGV/HGV vehicle in compliance with UK road regulations
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Ensure timely deliveries and collections according to the schedule
Secure and handle loads safely to prevent damage
Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and driving laws
Requirements:
Valid LGV/HGV driving licence (Class 1 or Class 2)
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
Driver Skill Card (if applicable)
Right to work in the UK
A good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Accommodation on site is available
