Join Our Team – People Manager

Role: People Manager | Location: Remote based | Salary: £40,000+ tax-free bonus | Full time: 40 hours a week over 5 days | Occasional travel requirements.

We’re looking for an experienced People Manager to join our warm and welcoming team at HIT Training Ltd and take a lead role in shaping a positive, high-performing, and inclusive employee experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HR professional with a proven track record in performance management projects, line management, and overseeing day-to-day HR operations. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact, grow professionally, and enjoy the flexibility of remote working.

About the Role:

As our People Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner to our leaders and teams, helping to embed inclusive, people-focused practices and ensure HR strategies reflect our values and ambitions.

What you’ll be doing:


Providing practical HR advice and support across the business.
Oversee employee relations, performance, and wellbeing cases.
Support our HR and recruitment strategy.
Driving performance management initiatives and process improvements.
Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practice.
Line managing a small People Team and providing mentorship to support growth and development.
Leading engagement, DEI, and HR improvement projects.
Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice.


What you need to bring:


CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
Experience in line management and HR generalist work
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A proactive, flexible approach with a people-first mindset
A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
