Summary

Main Purpose

To support the Account Director in the delivery of the contract and developing the contract base and supply chain. To directly manage a team of directly employed operatives and FES FM's supply chain and to deputise for the Account Director in their absence.

This will be achieved via the practical implementation of the company's management system and the utilisation of the operations manager's knowledge and experience, increasing the quality of output from Engineers, maximising the effectiveness of subcontractors and ensuring efficient use of materials.
Duties & Responsibilities

To ensure the satisfactory performance of the contracts:
Take full responsibility for all quality, environmental and
heaIth& safety issues at each of the sites for which he/she is responsible in compliance with company policies and arrangements.
As a Hiring Manager have close liaison with HR to ensure
compliance and to maintain close relationships with HR on HR
matters relating to the team
Compliance with contractual requirements .
Client satisfaction and the quality of service provided .
Responsibility for all day to day management, control, co- ordination, execution of all operations under their remit and
reporting directly to the Contracts Director.
Identifying and implementing innovations to improve service delivery
Ensuring continuity of systems in a manner, which fully complies with all legal, qualitative, health, safety and
environmental standards and other relevant guidance.
Ensuring, demonstrate, review and monitor compliance, to meet the expectation and needs of the Client, the quality and
organisational goals of the company and satisfy the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000
Production of reports at regular intervals determined by
contract detailing physical and financial progress.
Provide advice and problem-solving function.
Monitoring and professional oversight of work to ensure satisfactory quality levels.
Provide management support to Possession Management and
Account Director.
Ensuring the availability of and if required participation in the provision of a 24 hour per day 365 days per year emergency on call service as required.
Developing the competency of themselves and others through
a commitment to continuing professional development.
Developing the contract base and supply chain within the geographic area.
To maintain a driving licence to remain mobile.


Skills

Formal technical education in mechanical/electrical discipline to a minimum of ONC level or equivalent and a minimum of at least 3 years relevant experience in the rail sector/FM or building services maintenance position of authority
Ongoing account management
At least 5 Years Management experience in Hard Services
An understanding of Health and Safety requirements
