Housing Repairs Co-ordinators act as the vital link between tenants, contractors, and the management team, coordinating a wide range of housing repair activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Ideal candidates will be skilled in managing multiple tasks, have exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire repair process from initiation to completion, ensuring that repairs are completed in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of residents. Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding housing repairs and maintenance issues.
Coordinate and schedule repair appointments with tenants and maintenance teams effectively.
Ensure all repairs are logged accurately and monitored throughout the process until completion.
Communicate updates to residents regarding repair status and timelines.
Work closely with contractors to manage repair projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, including costs, contractor details, and tenant communications.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency of the repairs process.
Requirements
Proven experience in a coordination or administration role within housing or property management.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in using computer software and management systems for tracking repairs and scheduling.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also capable of working independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
