Summary
How would you like to work for one of the UK’s top 15 food companies and one of Europe’s leading poultry producers?
No experience is needed as full training will be provided but must have own transport due to the location.
We are looking for someone to assist and support the Farm Managers in Broiler Farms across Ashbourne and Derbyshire. You will be required to monitor ventilation, heating, feed, water and lighting to provide a high quality atmosphere and conditions so that the birds can thrive and ensuring their welfare is not being jeopardised. You will need to maintain correct and up to date records of all matters relating to the birds, food and supplies, as well as assisting in other operations such as vaccinating, bird weighing and catching and collection.
• £12.53 per hour basic salary, plus overtime at 1.5x.
• 40 hours per week – 5 days out of 7 with weekend work.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication.
• Computer literate.
• Must have a full driving license as this is a mobile role (a company vehicle is provided to assist you to get to and from the farm).
• Must be willing to achieve a minimum NVQ Level 2.
